Can we change that to be like Yahoo since this is how we've always done it? At least if we switch, we should keep the same rules. It would only make sense right? I am sure in the settings it can be changed by a mod.

If that is the case, absolutely it should be changed |

Yahoo used a base of minimum games started at the position and then also rolls with a minimum of games played at a position (say Machado slides over for the 8th and 9th innings). I forget the exacts but Machado def hit his SS Yahoo eligibility last year. That's one of the things I was concerned about with the switch. But if we can customize stuff we should be able to do position eligibility too, right?

At least for this year, anyway. We could copy Yahoo position criteria for this year then move toward Fantrax defaults?

Yeah, we need to figure this out, I never even noticed because I still look at my Yahoo page when I do my research.
Nothing against Starin Castro but there is a bit off a difference in Machado and Castro being my SS!

WAS added the 10 game/5 game values in when he created the league (I assume he thought that was what Yahoo does). It is fully able to be customized. I say if you guys always played yahoo rules when it came to this...no reason to change it. I think Fantrax's rules are a little more strict and follow more with every other fantasy site in the world with their defaults which I think are like 10 games previous year/15 games current year or something like that. I am good with Yahoo defaults if we can know for sure what they were lol |

Even though this is my only Fantrax league I'm fine with graduating into their position requirements. But to be fair we should wait a year if possible.
And Castro is playing 2nd this year Chris so you'll be set come late April.

It doesnt matter to me either way. Maybe Josh or someone can decide or we have a vote. To me, we can keep it at Yahoo defaults and maybe agree now to what it should be for 2017. I like the extra eligibility to be honest with 16 teams....if we up it, you are looking at a lot of players who only play 1 position. just a thought.

Just found another feature that i wasnt even aware about. Fantrax has minor league roster requirements and rules. So, if i can get every single rule that makes or breaks a minor leaguer, I can add it in and its one less thing for the mods to worry about or track. If they DONT want that, then that's cool. just wanted to let you know its available.....  I had this set before we added the premium features. It was one of my 2 points that I noticed the premium was needed as I said earlier. As for the eligibility thing, I just kinda rushed through that, my bad if it was wrong lol. |

position eligibility has now been changed to min. 5 games from previous & current season games to gain a position for hitters. 3 starts for a pitcher to get SP and 5 games for a pitcher to get RP
