Let me say that I don't want to be one of the guys that lobby's a league to a very big decision like this... Seems like there's gonna be pushback either way the league goes. I'll be honest.... I don't think that the Marlins or reds are coming back either way... I'll stay if we go to fantrax but if you guys want to stay here I'll find you a good manager to replace me... Ans ill try and help with the other replacements....I have a stash of managers I can email to recruit to make sure the DBL is better off then when I left it ...

Biz, if we stayed with Yahoo you would leave? You are such a big part of our leagues.
Again, just so I understand, what is so hard about Yahoo? I am not asking to criticize, more to understand because I find it simple.

I think in the end let's give fantrax a go, if it doesn't work we can always switch back. I've used fantrax a bit and find it ok...I do prefer yahoo as already stated but happy to go with the majority.
The last thing we need is to lose guys like Drew or Biz however who are always active and great for any league.

I'd only leave if I didn't like it after a season of using it. But either way, it'd still be a pain having one baseball team there and the rest with Yahoo.

Fantrax is winning? I hate that site. This is going to be so inconvenient having a half dozen teams on Yahoo and one being switched to terrible terrible terrible Fantrax. drew, the dhl may end up going the fantrax way as well if this works out I'd dig my heels in on this one. No chance I want to play hockey on that ugly interface.

Hey guys, Figured I'd try setting a league up early enough for everyone to try it out.. started doing the adding of players but it got too much after a couple teams.. soooooo... congrats to Tyler (TOR), Drew (LAD), Chris (MTL) and Zim (NYY).. you were the first 5 (including myself) to submit "end of year rosters" and you won having your full rosters, prospects too, added to your teams by me lol. Once we get Ty in here, I'll give him the commish title no problemo but I know he is a busy guy so I went ahead and set it up to the same rules as Yahoo.. just on here. I don't have the email for PIT, MIA, MIN and CIN since they haven't joined the yahoo league yet. So if someone can send this to them, perfect. I'll also post this on the proboards site. Good luck looking around. -Alex Davies, Owner of the Washington Nationals. PS. League Joid ID is DBL123 and the password is DBL123. here's the link to the home page.. don't know what it does for you guys if you're not in the league yet. you will need to register/sign up to fantrax I believe. www.fantrax.com/fantasy/home.go?leagueId=gx6ymwzhikj86l19

Thank you Davies for setting me up!
Ummm...just look around the fantrax site a bit...what is so special about this over Yahoo? Maybe it is because I am not used to it..

It has the prospects on your roster that you can set in the minors, aka green section, which removes them from the FA pool so you don't have to check proboards constantly. That and there's a live chat? I don't know lol.

No they're there.. Just bench says limited by Max roster size. I put it in I'm pretty sure but I will look again today. Max roster size is 25

Davies I want to thank you for starting it up on Fantrax. I think it might be best for our league to go there for Baseball but we will see how it goes. The concerns I have is there is no way to limit call ups between your minor league team and the major league team so it would be like having unlimited moves which I don't want.

i want to come out and say i prefer yahoo even though i pushed the idea of fantrax...lol i hated the fact that 1/3rd of the league was threatening to leave for this simple issue, so i figured lets just put it to a vote and see what happens. we had a great inaugural season last year so why break some of it up.
that being said im open to the idea of using fantrax for one season to see if it benefits the league at all. after that, whos saying we cant switch back to yahoo if it makes no sense?

I set the limits to players being sent to the minors as 200 GP and 175 ip as in the rules here. So anyone above that can't go down. I also set the Max roster moves to 4 per week as per rules here too. It's really the closest thing I think.

i think the majority of managers that didnt like Yahoo (for baseball) was myself and the managers i brought in... my feeling is that most of the regular DHL managers like the setup for both Hockey and Baseball..which is why im here to try and help if the league wants to continue to stay in Yahoo for Baseball.
I can shoot some emails over this week and help recruit good baseball managers.. again, i dont want to have my named stamped on such a big league move when so many of the good core managers of this franchise enjoyed the way Baseball worked in season 1.
If we stay here,,,Let me know if you need my help in recruitment... im 100% here to hep in the best way i can.
